So, total number in PERM labors are 144K. Thats good, not many.
So, so if we have 150K BEC cases also, it is 300K for primary and 600K-700K total for 485s.
The report shows 144,000 between March 28, 2005 - June 1, 2007. This is not bad as we all are thinking

Not eligible at the current time? If your circumstances change and you become eligible after you file your 2007 federal tax return, you can always file an amended return using Form 1040X. It sure seems that there a lot of frustrated people on a short fuse. Staying focused definitely helps because of both our limited resources and influence. One thing that should be considered though is the greater good. Lot's of things could help an individual's cause. If I had the power to change the law I would start of by issuing green-cards within a month of getting an H1-B. But I don't have the wishing well in my backyard. I wish one of us could locate one and that would be the end of all this confrontation!

I live in Minneapolis. I too am on H4.Same thing happened to both my husband and myself here last October.We had moved recently from Indiana and the DMV said they won't issue new licenses for both myself and my husband (it doesn't matter if u r on H1 or H4)until we give the extended I94. We had our Indiana licences also canceled .We didn't know what to do and then we enquired some of our friends and came to know that if we show our original USCIS Receipts for Extension filed they give ur license for 6 months from the USCIS Receipt Date. So we did that and got our extension until April. U have to show the Original Receipt ,No Xerox .And now we got our extension papers and reapplied for a new license and got it. May be u too can enquire about this,because I think all DMVs tend to follow similar rules.

First of all i want to say is nixstor cool down, you dont have to use bad words to say anything, even though you spell wrong people can read it right.
The whole name check system itself not working properly, everybody knows it, there are criminals who got clearance and there are innocents stuck for years, so its a chance to make FBI think about their system.
Shyt! This is what I call shooting in one's own foot. C mon, Fcuk it up so bad that we will dig a big hole that we won't ever come out again. Please read my other post and think for a minute before you do this again and again

Mine is just over a month but won't be clearing for a while since there's lot more cases pending that were filed before me. Can I still email/Call?

I would say we all need to know our status well first :) There is no such status as EAD. It is Adjustment of Status (AOS) Pending. I had done multiple refi and all I had to tell them is GC pending. They get copy of EAD just to have a reference that I am legal here at the time of application (since it has an end date). Had no issues so for.
vrbest, Who is your lender. Can you name the bank you worked with. It might help the some in this group. I have done a Mortgage and 2 re-fi in the past with no issues, but last time, I had issues with Bank of America, Wells Fargo and one other bank (don't remember name). The reason was being on AOS/EAD, They were fine with H1b, but did not understand what EAD / AOS is. It all depends on the underwriter and if he is not knowledgeable on the Visa issues, then you are done. You can't ask for an alternate underwriter. I was able to secure through a credit union though.
