PD: Feb 27, 2006

RFE Aug 16th 2008 for Birth Certificate
CPO email Aug 4th 2010
Decision email Aug 5th 2010
Approval I 797 letter in snail mail Aug 9th 2010
Post Decision Activity email Aug 11th 2010
Soft LUD on I 485 Aug 12th 2010
Welcome Letter in snail mail Aug 16th 2010
Physical Green Card Aug 18th 2010
PS: I did NOT open any SR or contact seneator or ask lawyer to get in touch with USCIS. Just waited patiently. Did my Finger Printing in October 2007. No FP after that did paper filing for EAD & AP so no FP for those as well. My advise is to hang in there. Not to open too many SR's but thats entirely upto your discretion. Some people swear it helped them for my case I did not use that option.
Hope this date line helps those who are waiting for their cards. Good luck to every one on forum. I will still be supporting IV and contributing to Wiki as always.

You can view my past posts in IV, I am not Desi employer but I may become very soon to employ myself (very close to get GC :-) )
Anyway have you gone through yourself with same situation/tension as OP going through or do you know someone closely who have gone through? Have you dealt with attorney yourself?
If that employer sue you, definitely you can counter sue for violation of wage related or h1b related rules and attorney will be the best person to advice you on that. make sure you go to an attorney who practice employement laws and have knowledge or have some other attorney in the same firm who deals in immi related matter. But question is, do you want to go through nightmare of law suites or you just want peace of mind.

I have dealt all options with my employer ...
They will give me "Employer Letter" ASAP but i have to sign a letter that i'll work with them for 1 year after getting 485 approval.
What does it mean - Indirectly i have to work with them till 485 approval ( which could be 3 yrs easily) plus another 1 year ??

Does any one know what is the time table for SKILL, PACE?
If I understood correctly, SKILL BILL will not tabled unless CIR is dead?
Assuming CIR wont be there in end of July, what would or how SKILL or PACE get a chance to be discussed?

I came on extension. I think they are more critical about the companies with whom you are working for. All my friends with extended their visa with no problems. I it is very hard to conclude on this. But scares every one if we keep saying they can not extend their visa.
Be prepared with good documentation and you should be fine.
I don't work with L-1 companies.
I know of this because many of them have h-1b's and want to know how to switch.

I see a Webfax being setup. Only 49 members have used it. Very simple to use, click on webfax, enter your state and details, send. 10 sec. Please use this. This is the most simple thing you can do.

These words are not trivial. I have personally witnessed and believe an immense power hidden in these words. I with everybody else in this forum really, really want the miracle to happen with you that cures you completely and brings you back to your normal life.
This is my first post in this forum. Until today I was a bystander on the fence never actually got inspired enough to fight for a cause as trivial as getting a green card. But today I broke the fence and came in. Because never before in my life I have seen such a real courage in a real person. I salute you and wish I can be as courageous as you when life will demand from me.
Just want to let you know that somebody somewhere dropped a few tears for you and will continue to pray to the power above for your speedy recovery and well being.

Why did you file EAD? Waste of money. You will be getting your GC anytime. EB2 ROW is curent.
